The Sellwood Community House, 1436 SE Spokane Street Portland, Oregon, will give the Rosarians use of their facility outdoors (or the lobby if there is inclement weather) to host an Open House on March 14th between noon and 2:00 pm, where past winners and structural engineers will talk with potential racers and their parents on the methods of building a milk carton boat.

Alpenrose is delivering milk cartons in time for kids to get started designing and working on their milk carton boats during Spring Break. This Open House is an opportunity to get some milk cartons shared with some families who can get started on this family project. We have need of a few Rosarians to greet the families when they arrive and answer any questions we can answer or refer them on to the past winners or structural engineers to talk about technical questions. 

Join us for the fabulous annual St Patrick's Day Parade!! This delightful neighborhood parade is short and sweet and full of fun.

Date: Sunday, March 15th

Time: Parade kicks off at 1:30, please gather no later than 1:00 P.M.

Where: Meet on NE Hancock and NE 33rd (next to Beverly Cleary (Fernwood) School

Dress: Whites, capes, hats, gloves (or greens if you don't have whites yet!)

Parking: Street parking in the neighborhood, allow time to find a spot.

Other: This is a flat, 1.2 mile parade that loops so you end up at the starting spot (so handy!). There won't be a float so everyone must be able to walk the route. Parade takes approximately one hour.

The community is warmly invited to attend the Blessing of the Rose Festival, the cherished kickoff to our festival season.

             The Blessing is a non-denominational ceremony that brings our community together in unity and reflection, welcoming everyone of all faiths and backgrounds.

The 82nd Avenue of Roses is celebrating their 20th year hosting a parade and other celebrations of all things East Portland! Their theme this year is: History of East Portland. Come join the fun and march in the parade.

When: Saturday, April 25th. The parade kicks off at 9:30, please be there by 8:45 am!

Where: Staging is near SE Holgate and SE 82nd - exact location to be provided closer to the date

Dress: Whites, gloves, hats, and capes - or greens for those who are suitless.

Parking: on the street so allow time!

Wenatchee Applarians are excited that you will be joining them for the 107th Apple Blossom Festival. Looking forward to a fun filled weekend. Welcome to the beautiful Wenatchee Valley! "Everything's Coming Up Blossoms!"

Come Celebrate St Johns by marching in the fabulous St John's Parade!!

When: Saturday May 9th

Time: Parade starts at noon, please arrive by 11:00 am!

Meeting spot: Parade start is at N. Burr and N. Leonord, our exact staging area will be available closer to the date

Other Details: The parade is short, under mile, and goes through downtown St Johns. The St John's Bizarre is happening the same day, so stay to check that out, too! Here 

Parking: Street parking, so allow time. Organizers recomend parking south of Lombard if you want easy exit prior to end of the parade.

Rose Planting at the Springs at Clackamas Woods honoring their residents, our own Ilsa Kinder, including the Grandmothers of Kimberly Takla and her brother, The Springs Founder/Owner. Please arrive no later than 10:45am.

The Marysville Strawberry Festival -turning tounges red for 94 years!

"A Strawberry Celebration!" is our theme this year to remind our community about this time honored tradition. This celebration unified our beautiful city and brout us together with a powerful sense of community and pride in our hometown.

Penticton Peach Festival is an annual South Okanagan Valley tradition, which began in 1947, to celebrate the peach harvest in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada.
